SETUP

FROM THE LOCKER ROOM TO THE FIELD IN 2 MINUTES

To set up the Profiler stud, make sure that the sole stud area is clean. Insert a washer provided in the kit on the stud thread and screw them together on the shoe. The shoe thread needs to be clean and in excellent condition. Screw firmly by hand then use the Smart Power screwdriver to place the stud in the desired position. Once the stud is screwed manually, you need to tighten it with at least half a rotation in order to have enough tightening. You can go up to more than one rotation thanks to the crushing of the washer. If, once screwed, it does not correspond to the desired position, unscrew it all, change the washer, take another stud if necessary, then redo the procedure. Washers are single-use, they must not be reused. Washers kits are available for sale.

CONFIGURATION : BACKS, 2ND AND 3RD ROW

The front studs are oriented toward the front of the shoe. This means that the contact area is located on the front part of the foot in relation to its axis. This is particularly indicated for speed and acceleration. The intermediate studs, on the middle part of the shoe, will always be oriented toward the outside of the foot (toward the right for the right foot, toward the left for the left foot). Be sure to orient each one differently. This will allow for a wider footprint and maximize lateral stability during scrums or running in order to dribble or dodge tackles. You will also reduce the risk of injury from rotating your ankle. Finally, the rear studs will be oriented toward the rear. They will enable you to stabilize during sudden stops, with a back position, on the heels, during a duel.

CONFIGURATION: 1ST AND 2ND ROW

The second configuration is recommended for rugby and scrum, optimizing thrust. In fact, only the front studs will be oriented differently: toward the rear. This way, they will penetrate with a better angle and enable you to take “more inclination” in the scrum and to push harder. Other configurations are possible. Each player needs to find the configuration that suits him. So, with these new generation Profiler studs, you will be more efficient and will find comfort and sensations again, whatever the field.
